COME GROW WITH US! The NEEDS Center has an opening for a Clinical Director/BCBA who will ensure the quality of the residential and center-based programs by directing the clinical services and programs for adults with developmental disabilities with a focus on Autism Spectrum Disorders. This is a full-time opportunity in Orange Park, Florida.

 

 Responsibilities include:

  • Management and monitoring of the delivery of behavior analysis services according to all Florida regulations
  • Ongoing supervision and monitoring of Florida LRC process
  • Develop and monitor individualized plans and behavior analysis support plans for assigned caseload
  • Screening of new referrals, including collaboration with outside providers and administration
  • Conduct initial and ongoing assessments
  • Ensure on time delivery of all required documentation (i.e. quarterlies, annuals, support plans)
  • Work collaboratively with various departments to ensure follow through and implementation of all company wide systems, platforms and policies.
  • Regular collaboration with nursing department and consultants to ensure data driven psychiatric care is being provided at a high level across all individuals
  • Provide instruction, support, and feedback to Direct Support staff with regard to managing challenging behaviors and teaching replacement behaviors
  • Conduct functional assessments and functional analysis for all challenging behaviors
  • Review program effectiveness, make recommendations, monitor data collection, and chart progress
  • Provide clinical support, oversight and leadership to clinicians
  • Serve as a liaison for all outside agencies
 

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of a Master's Degree in a related field
  • A current BCBA Certification
  • A minimum of 5-7 years of experience working in a setting that utilizes programming based on the principles of applied behavior analysis
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of supervisory experience of BCBA’s and other clinical staff
  • Experience with the following: completing functional behavior assessments, authoring behavior support plans, creating program materials, providing training and supervising direct services to individuals
  • Experience working with individuals diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder required
  • Experience with ADP
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Macintosh and PC literacy required
  • Familiarly with Microsoft Teams and all Microsoft based platforms including- word, excel, PPT.
  • Familiarity with online data based collection platforms
